Credit Card or Billing Dispute Letter
Formal dispute of a credit card or billing error under the Fair Credit Billing Act.
When to use this letter
Send this when you spot a duplicate charge, an unauthorized transaction, goods or services you never received, or an incorrect amount on your credit card statement. A written dispute under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) starts a formal investigation and protects you from having to pay the disputed amount while it's under review.
What to gather
Statement showing the charge, receipts or order confirmations, and any prior correspondence with the merchant or card issuer.
Sample opening

We help you describe the error and request a correction, then print and mail the letter for free.
